1940 -2018

Wanda went home to be with the Lord February 23, 2018 at the age of 77. Beloved daughter of the late Wayland and Retha Wallace; dear mother of Michael Morgan, Jennifer Bell, Janette (Fred) Christian, David (Teri) Morgan, Martin Morgan, Wallace (Angie) King and Walter (Gynger) King; loving grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 20; beloved sister of Wayland (Sharon) Wallace and the late Debbie Casey; our dear aunt; cousin and friend to many.

Wanda treasured her time drinking coffee and talking with her friends, she also enjoyed watching her TV programs.  She took great pride in trying to keep all her kids in line and loved them all dearly, along with her church family at Apostolic Pentecostal Church.

Boyd R. Holmes

1937 - 2018

Boyd R. Holmes passed away February 8, 2018 at the Lincoln County Nursing Home in Troy, Missouri at the age of 80.  Beloved father of Michael Holmes, Scot (Debbie) Holmes, John (Gretchen) Holmes, Chris Holmes, Nathan (Cindy) Holmes and the late Eric Holmes; dear brother of Madge Early, loving grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

His motto in life was "Search for the truth and that is what I recommend for everybody, only believe in what there is evidence for." He loved nature and spending time with his family.

Went home to be with the Lord, February 3, 2018. Beloved friend of Dan, Liz and Daniel Crum and Apostolic Pentecostal Church; our dear sister-in-law and aunt.

Rose enjoyed telling jokes, laughilng and eating. She loved her church family and they loved her. She will be grealy missed.

1935 - 2018

Raymond E. Marcrum went home to be with the Lord February 3, 2018. Beloved son of the late Sidney and Hattie Marcrum; dear husband of Betty S. Marcrum for 60 years; dear father of Becky (David) Suchman, Rhonda (Rich) Scheer and Johnny (Stacey) Marcrum; our dear grandfather; great-grandfather; brother-in-law; cousin and friend to many

Mr. Marcrum retired from General Motors, he was a long time member and deacon of Lafayette Park Baptist Church. He enjoyed taking care of others, was always giving rides and was there for everybody. He will be greatly missed.

        Joseph A. Cafazza


    1929 - 2018

Joseph Anthony Cafazza passed away peacefully January 20, 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Gloria Sue Cafazza and six children, Annette Cafazza, Lynn Gregson (Rick), Joanne Wesloh (Al), Tony Cafazza (Traci), Jerry Cafazza (Mona) and Constance Cafazza.

Cherished grandfather to Stephanie Kleeschulte, Shannon Carico (Josh), Maggie McGrath (Kyle), Natalie Kastis (Nick) and Nika Cafazza. He was great grandfather to Josh, Bailey, Jack, Stefania and Alexandra, Luka, Niko, Johnny and Lola. 

He was preceded in death by grandson, Andy Wesloh.

Mary Ruth Keener went home to be with the Lord Januray 20, 2018, beloved daugher of the late Cecil and Delphia (nee Stewart) Headlee; loving wife of Darrell V. Keener for 54 years; dear mother of Kimberly Keener and Derek (Pam) Keener; dear grandmother of Josh Keener, Daniel Mian Keener, Sophie Keener and Emma Keener; dear sister of Carl Headlee, Robert Headlee and the late Charles Headlee; our dear sister-in-law; aunt; cousin and friend to many.

Mary loved everybody and she loved to laugh and smile.  She drove a school bus for 27 years and also loved her "kiddos" . She enjoyed her animals, especially Cricket and Pebbles. She was a long time member and servant at Grace Assembly of God Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

August 24, 1955 - January 15, 2018

Ricky went home to be with the Lord at the age 62. The beloved son of the late A.W. Roettgen and Helen (nee Weissenbach) Roettgen, dear brother of Mary (Jim) Eaton and twin brother of Micky (Linda) Roettgen and the late Wayne Weissenbach; our dear uncle; cousin and friend to many.

Ricky enjoyed Southern Gospel music and inviting people to church, he loved his dogs and cats. He also loved his family and church family. He was a life long member of Prince of Peace Church.

      Born December 26,1951 in Washington, DC,  He walked on out of this life,  December 26,2017 at  Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.   He is survived by his wife Tammy (Penrose) Fletcher; his beloved sister, Jean Meadows of Carmichaels, PA.; his dear children and children in his heart  Emma Gilbert of Conroe, TX,   Charles Fletcher III,  Melanie Henniger of Bonners Ferry,Idaho.  Kristalyn Massey and Angelina Parks of Morehouse, MO,  Paul Parks of Sikeston, MO   Cody Lancaster of Carmichaels, PA,   Chris Wilburn of Chaffee, MO,  Cameron Allen of Sikeston, MO,  Loretta Cates of  Fenton, MO. Loving grandfather of 19 Grandchildren, 10 great -grandchildren; and a great-grandchild  due in February of 2018;  family and friends in Pennsylvania,Wyoming,Texas, Idaho, and Florida.  Proceeding him in death: his parents,  Emma Wilson and Charles Fletcher, and two brothers Sidney Baggett and George. June enjoyed gardening, cleaning, giving and going to yard sales. She loved spending time with her family and was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Lemay. She will be greatly  missed.

Beloved wife of Joseph Sullivan of St. Louis; dear mother of Rebecca (David) Adams, Thomas (Joselyn Rector) Harper, Laura (Matthew) Behne, Melissa Windell, James (LeAnn) Bainter, Clarence Bainter and the late John Arnard Pierce and Frank Joseph Pierce, precious sister of Jay'ne Harper, Shoug Harper and the late Frank "Hootie" Harper and Junior Arnard. Special aunt of Frank, Shelby and Billy Barton, Holly and Sara Harper, Aleina Harper, Amanda Dami and Misty Harper; blessed grandmother of Sandra, Seth, Connor, Noah, Kaden, Gage, Cameron, Levi, Colton and Jaxon Harper; our dear aunt, cousin and great friend to many.

Susie Q enjoed shopping on Cherokee, cooking and watching her T.V. programs. She deeply loved her family and Joseph Sullivan was her world. Susie Q and Shoug were very close and she will be greatly missed.

Marlene Thurman

1942 - 2017

Marlene went home to be with the Lord, December 3, 2017 at the age of 75.  Beloved wife of the late Jerry Dean Thurman; dear mother of Mark Thurman, Gregory Thurman and Jerry Lee (Imelda) Thurman; dear grandmother of Amy Thurman, Richard Nabual, Kayla Thurman, Christopher Thurman and Rebecca Thurman; great-grandmother of Sethen, Amelia, Elizabeth and Emily Ohmer, Paige and Brooke Nabual; dear sister of Donald Cox, Sandra Farris, Jackie Cox and the late Helen Cook and Wayne Cox. Our dear aunt and friend to many.

Marlene loved children and was called Grandma by everyone in the neighborhood. She enjoyed being outside and gardening.  Her family will always rememeber her as "The World's Greatest Cook" she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy A. White
1945 - 2017
Dorothy Ann White was originally born Dorothy Ann McKeever on December 7, 1945 to the union of W.C. McKeever and Chaney Bell Thomas.  She was born the ninth of ten children. Her mother Chaney Bell Thomas, father W.C. Mckeever, brothers and sisters David Rogers III, Goldie Rogers, Ollie May Rogers, Juanita Mckeever, Willie Mae Lee, Earnest Mckeever, Carl K. Mckeever, Charles Edward Mckeever proceeded her in death. 
     Dorothy attended O’Fallon Technical High School and Manpower Clerical School. Dorothy graduated from Forrest Park Community College with an Associate in Applied Science Human Services in August 1990.
     Dorothy had a career in several different fields over 20 years.  She was an employee at Beltx Corporation as a seamstress; Division of Family Services as a Clerk Typist and Energy Assistance as a receptionist. During her career she received many letters of appreciation for outstanding service. Dorothy loved practicing her piano music, knitting, travelling, shopping and spending time with her family. Dorothy was medically retired for almost twenty years, but remained a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to those who knew her. 
    Dorothy departed this life on November 22, 2017 in Jennings, Missouri.
    She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her children – two daughters, Catherine R. White, Victoria J. Green and her husband Demetrius Green;  grandchildren: Kelly White, Walter Moore and Kristy White; and a host of nieces and nephews, and great grandchildren.
     She will be sadly missed.

Melvin went home to be with the Lord November 15, 2017. He was the dear son of the late Melvin W. and Mary Sandlin; beloved brother of Donna (Dave) Krupinski, Beverly Parker, Wayne (Bobbi) Glenn and Dennis (Elisa) Praiswater; our dear uncle; nephew; cousin and friend.

Melvin had a big heart and was very generous.  He enjoyed making funny remarks and laughing.  Only he knew what his technology was about and said "It was between him and God"  he worked on it very deligently! He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Donald Rutledge of St. Louis, passed away suddenly at the age of 54. Dear son of the late Donald Rutledge and Bob and Eleanor DeGonia; beloved brother of Tina (Corkey) DeGonia and the late Robin Degonia; dear uncle of Terry (Victoria) Zellers, Sheela Leonard, Samantha Lumsden and Staycee Lumsden, our dear great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Donny loved his work restoring homes and chandeliers, he enjoyed fishing and traveling to flea markets. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
