Darrell V. Keener


Darrell V. Keener went home to be with the Lord February 17, 2020 at the age of 85. Beloved son of the late Evie and Edna Keener; loving husband the late Mary R. (nee Headlee) Keener for 54 years; beloved father of Kimberly Keener, and Derek (Pam) Keener; dear grandfather of Josh Keener, Daniel Keener, Sophia Keener and Emma Keener; loving brother of Freda Scott, Nina Hayhurst, Jack (Jean) Keener, Shirley (Carl) Hartley, Margaret Gotses, Marlyn Keener, Barbara (Tim) Haines, Carol (Cecil) McFarland and the late Betty Haines and Robert "Buck" Keener; our dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Darrell  will be fondly remembered for always having candy and a joke to share. He loved his grandchildren and was very proud of all of them.  He was a longtime and devoted member at Grace Assembly of God Church, and served in the U.S. Army.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Services:  Visitation will be held Monday, February 24, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Grace Assembly of God Church, 13605 New Halls Ferry Rd. Florissant, Missouri 63033, Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, 11:00 A.M. at Grace Assembly of God Church Pastor Joe Zarro officiating.

Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
