Merle L. McCain, Jr.

1947 - 2019

Merle L. McCain, Jr. went home to be with the Lord December 18, 2019 at the age of 72.  Dear son of the late Merle L. and Violet McCain, Sr.; loving husband of the late Shirley McCain; dear brother of the late Nordecia McCain; dear cousin of Valerie (Mike) Andrews, Lloyd (Debra) Davis, Jane Davis and many others.

Merle proudly served the U.S. Navy and the St. Louis City Police Department for 35 years. He enjoyed playing his guitar, going to the casino, dining out and was John Wayne's biggest fan. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Services:  Visitation will be held Monday, December 23, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.  

Inurnment: A Private Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
