Marlene Thurman

1942 - 2017

Marlene went home to be with the Lord, December 3, 2017 at the age of 75.  Beloved wife of the late Jerry Dean Thurman; dear mother of Mark Thurman, Gregory Thurman and Jerry Lee (Imelda) Thurman; dear grandmother of Amy Thurman, Richard Nabual, Kayla Thurman, Christopher Thurman and Rebecca Thurman; great-grandmother of Sethen, Amelia, Elizabeth and Emily Ohmer, Paige and Brooke Nabual; dear sister of Donald Cox, Sandra Farris, Jackie Cox and the late Helen Cook and Wayne Cox. Our dear aunt and friend to many.

Marlene loved children and was called Grandma by everyone in the neighborhood. She enjoyed being outside and gardening.  Her family will always rememeber her as "The World's Greatest Cook" she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.


Services: Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at McLaughlin Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.

Interment: Three Rivers Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Missouri
