   2009-10-0205:50:32 please accept my deepest sympathies. I haven't had the pleasure to know your family, but my heart goes to those who have to say good bye with their older ones. I lost my mother at age 97 and I know you must miss Matt as much as I miss her. But I would like to share an encouraging thought from the Bible that will soften the sadness for you at this time. It is found in the Bible at John 11:11-44. Jesus is called to the house of his friend Lazarus. His sisters thought if Jesus came he could cure him from his illness. But by the time Jesus arrived Lazarus had fallen asleep in death. Jesus used the term "asleep" because the people would understand one awakes from sleep. And he did…Jesus resurrected him. Read how happy the family was…that is how it will be for your family when you are all togther again but this time with no threat of death again. Revelation 21:3,4 tells us that.
